night's middle, letting go

earson: joshua radin, ingrid michaelson, iron and wine
eyeson: ARPEE, philosophy
thoughton: hitting the wall, remedies, supplements, acupuncture? HOT CUPS?

so the greatest thing i've learned in the past few days is that sometimes it's wise just to let it go.

if it's not good for you, let it go.
if you're upset about it for no good reason, let it go.
if you're upset about it for a -good- reason, address it and THEN let it go.

-again- i'm discussing with random people the merits of faith and self morality. finally, i found someone who agrees in the concept of higher power and prayer without attaching it inevitably to doctrine. gleeful, i say, because .. you shouldn't have to have a ceremony, should you, to send up your thoughts for someone in need or to thank That Big Whatever for the randomly good tiny things that happen to you?

been hitting the wall lately, a lot, private thoughts about wanting to be done. usually this is remedied with sleep, food, coffee, addressing the issue, or all of the above. unfortunately this is all a time process and the middle of the night has tended to be extremely difficult and lonely for me .. i usually take to texting people randomly or wandering around the house. none of this is particularly healthy, but my body clock seems to be timed to sleep at around 5AM.

so i think i have a mission for this weekend! i think it will be to buy a book, some essays by nietzsche and some Aristotle for Dummies.
