just a couple of things.
1) if you're a former soldier in the US army and you think that memorial day celebrations are 'too sad,' you're an ass. that one day is for everyone to pay their respects to the people we've lost to the war(s) in the middle east. respect your fellows.
2) that CA has failed again to pay attention to the greater good and has decided not to let people who love one another marry and be miserable with one another is just more proof that we have not shaken free of the general douchery that is California republicans.
3) with my self-esteem on the mend, i have grown especially tired with people who use me and then expect me to stick around for their good graces. or people who are mean to me but expect that i'll still be kind to them no matter what. fuck that, you're deleted!
