earson: alkaline trio, jim croce (again), queen - crazy little thing, cranberries - no need to argue
eyeson: al gore's book, the local paper, mag rags - i'm so sick of politics i'd rather read about britney
thoughton: laid back things, for once

so the past few weeks have been plain .. plain as yogurt or a woman in the country with too many kids .. just working, eating, sleeping, mommying. i don't think anything really exciting has happened to me in awhile - i suppose that's a good thing, considering the excitement in the previous 6 months.

contemplating creating a book with a friend, should be good times .. that's in the works, i've been doing some reading on the proposed subject matter of the tome. he's talking about the next dylan, cohen .. that these notes will be the sign of our times .. i just think it'll be fun and i hope the shtick won't be too thick.

i suppose good progress has been made in my quest for self-realization. i'm doing things again that previously i would have shunned .. purchasing clothes for myself, taking care of myself, actually glancing in the mirror every once in awhile. i've begun to actually think about men in terms of reality -but- still feel petrified (as in phobic) of dating anyone i don't know and probably won't venture out of that cage anytime soon.

i even thought about taking a picture of myself today .. ! was out at a mountain nature center with my child's 1st grade class on a nature walk to watch birds .. we spent the day there, had a little picnic, swatted bugs .. i took a gazillion pictures and a little video of her class singing songs they'll perform for a few members of the Red Sox when they come to z's school tomorrow.

das right, red sox guys are coming to my baby's school. they put together over 36,000 hood milk caps and won a contest. no parents, relatives, nor public allowed in the building tomorrow. just the players, teachers, and students. i hope SOMEONE takes pictures or video, my kid is out of her head excited.

i'm on myspace now!
