'biki' is the name of my daughter's imaginary friend. biki's been part of z's life for years, she went with us to california .. when zoe would pretend with biki, my ex would think it was creepy. biki usually comes out to play when my daughter's stressed or under a lot of emotional duress, or if a big change is happening that she's having to deal with. so it really only makes sense that my daughter went out to 'visit with biki' outside today, where her imaginary friend is now residing .. in a little patch of woods in the front yard.
the past few days have been pretty hard. for class Z is writing an autobiography of her short life .. she brought home a timeline and i went through my diary, writing down a few stories i thought were funny or noteable. this all brought up memories .. and since then she's been in an emotional uproar.
meagan's mother is booting her boyfriend out of her house, which is forcing meagan to make a choice about whether or not she should go with him and if she does, where they would go .. josh's parents house is too tiny, and neither of them have jobs. my mother's house is too nuts, insanity just bleeds from the walls there. i recommended she and her man maybe get in touch with the united way .. they both have just started jobs and don't have many shifts, they can't afford to live by themselves .. and they really don't have any other place to go.
and the taxman audited me .. apparently, i owe the gvmt $500 of the money i already spent b/c they adjusted my gross income. i don't know what that means, but i hope the audit insurance i bought through h&r block will take care of it.
